    Aroused by "BIPLABEE DINESH MAZUMDER", some restless youngs of this soil, under the leadership of "ASHOKE KUMAR GHOSH @NANU MASTER / NANU KAAKAA / NANU GHOSH" established an organisation named "Naba Sakti Bayamagar" in the year 1932, to train the local youth for freedom fitting. Subsequently "Nanu Ghosh" was arrested by the then British Police for heinous crime to prepare Salt, inspired by the "MAHATMA GANDHI in his "LABAN AANDOLON", from the clay of "ICHHAMATI RIVER" and confined him into the Jail for a long period. After independence name of the organisation was re-named as "THUBA BAYAM SAMITY". The Samity is the pioneer in this locality to train the mind, health & character of the young people. The Samity also remain organising the "SARBOJANIN DURGA PUJA" and various social works. Ashoke Kumar Ghosh @ Nanu Ghosh, freedom fighter, was awarded inscribed copper-plate by the Government of India.
